• Chapter 2 The morning after their wedding night, the couple were busy working on what they had discussed even before getting married. Mira held a scarlet ring, as her husband imprinted a little diagram that signified something unknown on the ring. The diagram was heptagonal in shape with a line crossing over it from left to right. A sign they alone understood. *** Mira remembered all these as she held the ring in her hand. She was not ready to cry again. She had wept so much, that she no longer saw tears as an option. Facing the wind with great zeal to fight was, to her, the best thing she could think of. She heard a knock at the door and called for the person to come in. Her voice brought no sound, so she cleared her throat and called again. "Come in." The door opened and Michel emerged. "Am I welcome?" Michel said smiling. "Don't kid me girl." Mira said with a friendly tone. Michel hopped on the bed. "I bought some groceries on my way home. A

• Chapter 1 "Her Highness, Queen Betty, has raised the ban on robots and other high technology devices such as infomorphs, super AI computers, mind-distorter rays, and so many others, which were banned after their inability to respond correctly to orders late spring, last year. They are now back to normal and are... to... b..." Diago turned down the volume of his room's television. "Mum! The Queen has changed the laws on the techs!" • PROLOGUE The classroom was coloured blue at the bottom and had white on the upper part. All around the room were students in white shirt and red trousers. They appeared to be seven years old in all. They were seated on the wooden floor in form of a pentagon around their master, Master Yark, who had on a white garment with red head tie. Master Yark began to teach his students on the principles of becoming immortal criminals or as they call themselves 'Roaming Tigers'. "Yourself is the master of your destiny. Anything you need to be able to reach any height, is already in you. Consecration and concentration only can bring it out. Today, we move to the Melgushi, the test for the coming death mode. Tomorrow, we'll get to the final test before attempting Gustocano, the training that ends lives. A bare hand fight with Sacura, my pet." The students began to frown, because they knew what that meant - a fight with a real tigress- but they could not move an inch. They

It was one unusual hot night. And coincidentally there was no power supply. The reason for the power failure is still somewhat mysterious. Rae could not sleep because of the unusual heat. He sat by his window and looked into the dark light-forsaken night. The moon was thankfully at its brightest that night, which made his watch an interesting one. He saw from his room, how some flies were rolling around graciously. But he didn't put his focus on it. Instead, he gazed into the sky and watched the stars. He watched and wondered why some people love to look at... the sky. He did not see anything attractive in the normal same old sky. Just as he was about to leave the boring place so he could catch some sleep, his eyes caught someone or something as short as his height. Something lone and probably poor. It moved slowly with it's head glittering like a fire fly. Rae looked closely and still didn't know what it was. He decided to go check for himself, but he d
