Criminal and Victim

Claire got to office quite late as usual, and received smiles from
everyone. She wondered why, but eventually forgot about it.
She walked over to her cubicle, placed her bag on a small stool
beside her table. And started the day's work.
"Congrats Claire!" Kath greeted with a frown. Kath was Claire's best
friend. They met for the first time at college. At that time, Kath was
a freshman and always preferred to stay alone. Claire was the first
classmate to talk to Kath which made them become friends. They never
parted ways and they finally got to work in the same office.
"Congrats for what?" Claire questioned.
"I have been your best friend since a long time and you never told me
anything about you getting married." Kath screamed and placed a
newspaper on the table.
"Married.... me..... how... when?" She took the newspaper, and
checked it. She saw her image with a man she had never met in her
life, Jeffery Tyler.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
Claire answered the call. It was her boss, Mr Redfell.
"He...llo Sir."
"Hello new bride! I just received the letter of invitation for your
wedding. Am I glad to be the chairman of the occasion!"
"But sir..." Claire mumbled.
"Oh! Have you checked your messages, I have sent you some money to
support the wedding preparations." Mr Redfell stated proudly.
"I... am not... Thank you sir!"
"Alright, I've got to go. Make sure you complete your work before
leaving today!" Mr Redfell said and hung up.
"I am not getting married to anyone!" She whispered.
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! A message popped in. She picked up her phone
that had been on the table and
peeked at the sender. It was nameless. She clicked on the message and
it read thus:
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WEDDING THAT IS COMING UP SOON WITH MR JEFFERY
TYLER! YOU DON'T KNOW HIM RIGHT? IF YOU TELL ANYONE THAT YOU AREN'T
GETTING MARRIED, THEN PREPARE FOR YOUR GRAVE!
HAPPY MARRIAGE.
